  Registration is open for the 2015 Adventist Chaplains World Congress (ACWC), which will be held in San Antonio, Texas. Registration before Sunday, June 28, 2015 is $100. On-site registration will be $120.00.

   Register here for the Adventist Chaplains World Congress and to make reservations at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites. To ensure you are able to reserve a room at the LaQuinta and receive special event rate of $129 per night, plus tax, you must register and book your room no later than May 29, 2015. After that date, if rooms are available, they will not be at the discounted rate. You will pay your $100 registration fee through Paypal when you complete your online registration. You do not have to have a PayPal account to utilize this service.

Create a Personal Account – As part of the registration process, you will create a personal account. At the bottom of the page look for I need to create an account. Enter your first and last name and an email address that you check regularly. You will be assigned a login and temporary password. Once you log in, make sure you click on the link to change your password.

Dates – The 2^nd Adventist Chaplains World Congress runs Monday, June 29, through Wednesday night, July 1st. You will want to arrive on Monday, June 29 in time to attend the opening session at 7:00 p.m. Registration will be open from 12 noon to 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Lila Cockrell Theatre, located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 200 E Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205.

International Guests – If you are planning to attend the ACWC from an international destination, you will need to submit a request for invitation to attend the convention. Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries will provide a letter to aid you in obtaining a travel visa.

Where Do We Meet?

Convention Location – The 2^nd ACWC will be held at the Lila Cockrell Theatre, located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 200 E Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205.

Lodging – Lodging for the 2^nd ACWC will be at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites, San Antonio Riverwalk, 303 Blum, San Antonio, Texas 78205.
• Room rates are $125.00 + taxes per night for up to four guests per room. This includes a complimentary, full hot breakfast.
• Complimentary WiFi is available.
• Check in at 3 p.m. Check out will be 12 Noon July 1^st.
• You will be responsible for room costs and taxes; incidentals, and parking fees. Parking rates are:
Valet Parking (per day with in/out privileges) $25.00 + tax
Self-parking (per day with in/out privileges) $21.00 + tax

I’m On My Way to San Antonio!
Travel – The nearest airport is San Antonio International Airport. Ground transportation options are available (reference the San Antonio International Airport Transportation options). LaQuinta Inn and Suites Riverwalk is about 7 miles from the airport.

Airport Shuttle – GO Airport Shuttle is San Antonio International Airport’s authorized and single shared-ride shuttle service. Shuttles depart from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. daily to downtown hotels every 15 minutes. Passengers may purchase tickets at the airport’s baggage claim area or make a reservation online. Make sure you choose LaQuinta Inn Riverwalk when making your selection.

Navigating the ACWC
  Meals – A complimentary hot breakfast will be provided at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites. For lunch and dinner, you will have the chance to explore local restaurants in the area.
On Wednesday night, July 1st plan to attend the 30^th anniversary banquet and celebrate with us.

On-site Event Registration & Check-in – You may register on Monday, June 29, from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; or on Tuesday, June 30, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please add an additional $20 to each registration fee if you plan to register on-site rather than taking advantage of the advance online registration. You may pay with cash, credit card, or a check or money order made out to the North American Division.

Children – As a courtesy to other participants, and to maximize your benefit during this event, we ask that you make other arrangements for the care of your children.

Dress – Business casual. For the Wednesday evening banquet, church attire/military dress uniforms (no combat uniform) requested.
Let the Celebration Begin!
Tuesday and Wednesday Training Sessions – On Tuesday, June 30 an all-day session will highlight training in Operational Stress First Aid with Naomi Paget and Martin Feldbush as facilitators. Attendees will receive CEUs for their participation.
On Wednesday morning, July 1st, each area of chaplaincy will meet in breakout sessions. Time for chaplains to fellowship and share their experiences is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

  Gala –To close out our 30^th anniversary celebration, we’ll have a “Red Carpet” Banquet on Wednesday night. Dr. Darold Bigger will be our guest speaker.
