Welcome to the world of Adventist Chaplaincy

You are about to enter the world of specialized ministries in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is where trained male and female pastors minister in the name of Christ and the church in diverse and challenging settings such as correctional institutions, educational campuses, healthcare organizations and the military. 

Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries, a department of the world church, was created in 1985 to nurture and develop these ministries. Today there are hundreds of full-time Adventist professional chaplains in the world, and hundreds more who serve in part-time and volunteer capacities. Chaplaincy leaders are elected and appointed in church administrative offices worldwide to oversee this important work.
